Though his voice was not the best, a young boy sang a merry tune as he trod about the forest paths, deep blues flickering to look at all the beautiful scenery around him. He was careful not to step on any wildlife, though there was little that allowed itself to be seen which was unfortunate for he had duly brought his little sketch pads with him for that exact purpose, tucked away in his bag with the rest of his belongings of the day. Finally resting upon a boulder, he waited to see what passed.

She was curious for she had yet to see a boy in more years than she knew to count. Like a shadow she followed him, watching him and wondering what he was doing and where he would go? How would a boy react to seeing she, a unicorn? Would he love her as much as a princess did?

For a long while she watched him on the boulder. It had humored her how he climbed for humans were such odd creatures, two legs and other two legs that they used not as legs. Complicated creatures.
