D E F A U L T
- “I have been mortal, and some part of me is mortal yet. I am full of tears and hunger and the fear of death, although I cannot weep, and I want nothing, and I cannot die. I am not like the others now, for no unicorn was ever born who could regret, but I do. I regret.”
Sparrows and cats will live in my shoe,
WHO: All characters of any fantasy/myth timeline.
Sooner than I will live with you.
Fish will come walking out of the sea,
Sooner than you will come back to me.
WHAT: All of the events of The Last Unicorn have played out, King Lir is within her heart and soul, Schmendrick is now mortal and aging, Molly Grue is still as lovely and the Unicorns are all once more free. Yet all that happened is still echoing just like the sea. Amalthea is able to reclaim the form of the human body she was trapped in, and from time she does do so while attempting to restore her Lilac Woodlands that were destroyed and hunted till the end of the tale. She often thinks of King Lir, and speaks of him too, as well as her friends Schmendrick and Molly Grue. She does not often leave these woodlands and lives in a solitude that is both to her pleasure and disdain.
WHERE: Within a woodland area, to her known as the lilac woods. This can transpose into a modern time or any others, so long as there is a woodland.
WHEN: Post TLU.
